Seed Planters and Change Cultivators
THE HUAYRURO TEAM
THE CO-FOUNDERS
While there are four of us seeds that comprise the working team, it took more of us to get here.
Dr. Keiko Ozeki
Keiko is an organizational consultant, circle keeper, integrative coach, Core Gift facilitator, energy healer, and kinesiologist. Her core gift is helping people to evolve toward a collective consciousness. She gives it by helping the invisible become visible, giving gentle medicine for healing so that people can feel refreshed and rejuvenated, and helping them believe in themselves so that they can maximize their capacity and possibility. She facilitates difficult and critical conversations in order to promote restorative healing and culture change.
Dr. Monica Rojas-Stewart
Monica is a cultural anthropologist, community organizer, performing artist and arts consultant originally from Peru. She brings a unique perspective and knowledge around issues pertaining to our growing Latinx and other migrant communities in the country. A particular focus is visibilizing African-diasporic history and contributions through art. Monica brings extensive grassroots organizing experience, a deep understanding of culture and strong cross-cultural communication skills; she is highly trained in quantitative and qualitative research, strategic planning, and strategic thinking.
The Honorable Wesley Saint Clair
Wesley was appointed to the Northeast Division of the King County District Court in 1991, elected Presiding Judge for King County District Court in 2001 and was appointed to the King County Superior Court by Governor Gary Locke. In 2012, Judge Saint Clair was assigned to the King County Juvenile Court, where he began his relationship with Peacemaking Circles both in and out of his courtroom. He retired from the bench in 2019 and brings coaching, mediation and circle keeping to Huayruro.

Dr. E. Jabali Stewart
Jabali is an organizational consultant, a leadership coach, a public speaker, a youth worker, and a circle keeper. He has kept Peacemaking Circles in schools (K-College), businesses, families, government, and community settings. He has trained in and practices the lineage of Circle Keeping connected to Mark Wedge, Kay Pranis, Barry Stuart and Tahnaga Myers for over a decade. Besides Circle, he also practices other Art of Hosting and Participatory Leadership modalities. Jabali is a former independent school administrator, a public speaker, and has also cultivated a practice of one-on-one counsel. He enjoys collaborative problem-solving, and his work is deeply informed by his belief and practice of sensible, love-based leadership.
Emily Warren
Emily is an educator, circle-keeper, and mathematician. She is skilled in listening intently to the stories and visions of others and helping to manifest their dreams. During discussions, she finds through-lines, weaves details, and catches stories to hear lessons and then articulate them. Emily is highly versed in matters of gender, systemic framing, and organization. Emily has completed a Peacemaking Circle apprenticeship with master circle keeper Kay Pranis and is also on staff for The National SEED Project out of the Wellesley Center for Women.
Dave Werner, MA, LMFT
Dave is a family and individual therapist, specializing in ADHD, and focusing on bringing out the innate strengths of each person he engages with. Dave offers Huayruro the perspective of a teacher, counselor, father and husband that strives to bring balance between his own humanity and the theory and practice he has learned in 20 years of supporting kids and families.
