"The answer to the problem is not within thought. The true answer lies beyond the confines of thought."

When we face a problem, we tend to keep thinking, searching for an answer. However, the true answer does not exist within the confines of thought.

Thought arises from accumulated memories and knowledge, limiting our search within a fixed framework. But genuine insight and resolution do not come from thinking—they emerge from awareness in the now and deep silence. This aligns with the teachings of Zen and the practice of sonomama.

When you are troubled, pause your thinking and open your heart. When you fully accept the pure state of the present moment just as it is, the answer naturally arises beyond thought.

This resonates with the Zen teaching of hishiryō (non-thinking). Instead of searching for answers through thought, first, let go of thinking and simply surrender to the present moment.

Do not try to change anything—just receive this moment as it is. In doing so, a realization beyond thought may reveal itself.
