The Truth That Dwells in Each Moment

Without searching, the truth is already here—now.
You may have experienced this yourself: We make a decision like, “I’ll live this way,” yet that resolve rarely lasts long. Our thoughts and resolutions are fragile, and when we try to search for the meaning or purpose of life, those, too, are nothing more than products of thought.
What I want to share here is our true way of being—our original wholeness. This is not a matter of concepts or ideas, but of fact. We lose sight of our real nature, and that is why we become lost and suffer. We imagine life as a long journey, tracing a line from past to future. But that, too, is only a way of thinking called “life.” Within thought, no answer can ever be found.
So then, what is fact? Fact is, this very moment, right here in the midst of things. Walking, cooking, acting—none of these can be pinned down within a timeline or a space. The instant you recognize “now,” it has already slipped away. The fact is the here and now that appears and disappears each moment. Everyone, always, is living only in this very now.
That is why what matters most is to live each moment as it comes. There is nothing else. Words and thoughts may bring temporary comfort, but they cannot provide lasting healing.
True salvation and true healing are not something to be found outside yourself. They arise from within. It is what we might call “a way of living that never again needs to wander.” In truth, everyone is already living this way, but most have yet to notice it.
What we are seeking is not in some distant future. It is already here, unfolding moment by moment. When we awaken to that fact, life reveals itself as simple and utterly irreplaceable.
How are you receiving this very moment?
